I found this author through another series and then saw this one and have been working hard to read this series in order. I am one away from finishing the series and I do enjoy this series. 

Cooper is a copier repairperson and when she goes to a church to fix the copier she is invited to come and join the Bible group that meets every Sunday morning. She is uncertain why, but she goes to the first one and ends up liking the others in the group. When someone dies, the group works together, using their own special talents to find the truth and share it with the police. 

In the latest book that I finished, Cooper's sister is very close to the end of her pregnancy and is on a very strict bed rest. Her husband hired a nurse to help during the day and then at night he takes over, but as he is working very hard to close some deals he has to work late some nights and asks Cooper to come in and keep Ashley company. Cooper and the Bible group also agree to help the church school with an open house event at the school and she meets the art teacher. She likes the teacher very much, but when the teacher is found murdered in the pastor's office, she is quickly convinced to help find out who would do this to the teacher. She is also asked to help her boss find out who is stealing supplies from the company. 

I do enjoy this series. It has a religious side to it and there are Bible verses and the people pray together for each other and help each other. Becoming a family.

In the first book, we meet Grace, her assistant (a very prickly woman), and the owner of the Manor House and his step-daughter. Bennett and Grace may have a very familial relationship. It seems that Bennett's father was in a relationship with Grace's Grandmother, making her mother and Bennett siblings.
