I have had these books in my TBR for a while and finally got around to reading them. In the first book, we meet Grace, her assistant (a very prickly woman), and the owner of the Manor House and his step-daughter. Bennett and Grace may have a very familial relationship. It seems that Bennett's father was in a relationship with Grace's Grandmother, making her mother and Bennett siblings. While all this happens they find bodies on the property and proving who did the deed they find that Grace is good at finding information through research and knows how to use the talents of those around her. 

I just finished "Grace Against the Clock," where the Manor House is the location of a fundraiser to save a historic clock. When the speaker, a high-profile doctor is murdered right before the main speaker can give his talk they start looking for who wanted the man dead. While all this is happening Grace and her step-cousin find a tunnel under her house and another tunnel in the Manor House. I really enjoy this story as there is more than just a mystery, but the relationships.
