This was a quick read as it was stories that I read when I was younger, rewritten, and changing the way the story is told but allowing the moral to still be present.

In the first book, we meet Grace, her assistant (a very prickly woman), and the owner of the Manor House and his step-daughter. Bennett and Grace may have a very familial relationship. It seems that Bennett's father was in a relationship with Grace's Grandmother, making her mother and Bennett siblings.
